Starting this Sunday 8th May, Dun Laoghaire Waterfront clubs are on the water from 2-5 pm for inter-club sailing and coaching sessions in RS feva dinghies.
The aim of the harbour training is to 'encourage all skill levels to join the course, covering boat handling skills and basic racing, teaching how to go fast with fun!' according to Stephen Breen of the RS Feva class.
With over 70 boats across the country, Fevas are fun, fast and perfect for both girls and boys from 10-15+yrs working in teams. The boats, according to Breen are 'ideal to learn how to sail, have fun and progress competitively on lakes and coastal areas all across Ireland and beyond'.
The training is available through an online booking system on the club websites and the RS Feva Class Captains in Dun Laoghaire are:
National Yacht Club - Tim Bourke - juniors@nyc.ie
