MGM add Meridian to stable: update

MGM joins a number of Irish marine firms who are expanding overseas as the Irish Marine industry grows in strength. Last week afloat.ie reported MGM marine's appointment as Meridian yacht dealers for Ireland.

MGM's Martin Salmon has now confirmed the rights for the competitive UK market as well.

Introduced five years ago in the United States Meridian started to be distributed in Europe two years ago through a network of 12 distributors today.

MGM operate from Dun Laoghaire and Shannon premises.

The Meridian range (35' to 60') consists of two pilot house boats, three aft cabin motor yachts and three sedan vessels. The Meridian appeal in Ireland, says MGM's Gerry Salmon, is the large volume of the interior which has both an attraction for sea and freshwater users.
